The OROP, in "Letter and Spirit" is yet to be delivered, though a substantial increase has been given this time by our PM, who is yet to travel the proverbial last mile.

Personally
I endorse movement headed by Maj Gen Satbir Singh . We should be
thankful to him for all that what he has done and doing. It is sadly
unfortunate that our Three Stars have become so selfish. Respected Three
Stars I request you that you Honorable Generals/ Admirals/Marshals stop drawing OROP . Had
the seniors been doing their job while in service to protect our
rights, we would have been better placed today. They have now no right
to advise. Many of them have not gone to Jantar Mantar even once .
Whatever we have got in our banks so for is kind courtesy this movement spearheaded by Gen Satbir Singh.
All
of us who are not contributing to OROP movement should be ashamed and
thank all those struggling, primarily at JANTAR MANTAR. Ungrateful
people who criticise their efforts and sacrifices, should be
disgracefully shamed if not ashamed.
Anybody
who talks against the peaceful protest by the veterans is an "enemy of
the veterans" and worse than a "traitor".if any veterans does not
contribute towards the welfare of the war widows and veteran
fraternity, he should not enjoy OROP/NFU himself.
The
government (politico - bureaucrat) as usual has managed to break the
fragile unity of the Fauji . This is why the izzat of the Fauj has
reduced to the constabulary. Might as well become a mercenary force if
you all think Jantar Mantar is all about money. OROP was/is only a point to goad you to introspection.
The
little you have received is because of disunity and covert sell out by
many who see closing the gap in finances across the rank and file as an
affront to their superiority.
My request to veterans who are criticising the JM, still if you think you can do better please come forward to lead.

ReplyDeleteWhenever NDA Government has formed on 26 May 2014 I have some hope on them for giving accurate OROP, Good 7 th Pay Commission to CG Employees but as on 03 Feb 2016 this Government has given one of the most useless and most diluted version of OROP means One Rank many Pensions in other words I wish to state that OROP means One Rank Officers Pension as Junior Commissioned Officers and Below has severely cheated on OROP, secondly i wish to state that as on 29 Jun 2016 this Government has awarded one of the most useless and worse cum lowest Seventh Pay Commission since Independence in 1947(around 70 years) Now I understood that BJP means Bahut Jootta party and NDA Means -Never Demand Assurance, In NDA Government one of the most useless and worse Minister who has severely rejected by Public at Amritsar in General Election has become Finance Minister through Back door is severely damaging entire Pay scales and allowances in Defence Forces especially to Below Officer Ranks of Civil side , till now no revised pay has been received by Serving Soldiers even after a gap of more than 12 months hence most of serving soldiers morale of three wings of Defence Forces has severely declined and efficiency of their day to day work is drastically down or pathetically affected.In the mean time this useless Government has formed some committee for eye washing the union and CG Employees but in practical nothing has been happened so far

ReplyDeleteSomeone pl ask the DM &PM that why did they give the truncated, lame orop after humiliating the veterans to a large extent unlike civilians who are given with grace without any efforts. The orop which is literally enhancement of pension in the guise of orop was also already determined to be sanctioned by the previous regime vide/in terms of PCDA circular No. 471.
Who is the culprit behind curtain involved creating splot in the veterans group of association who are participating in the agitation at Jantarmanther Manthor demanding implementation of OROP as per the definition originally recommended by the Koshiyari committee and approved by both the houses of parliament. The present BJPMORGAN Govt implemented 5he OROP with diluted definition and imposing additioname conditions. Maj Gen Satbir Singh Sab faced all the consequences and expressed the veterans views through number of personal meeting and in writing to the hounorable minsiters and Secretary level high officials. It is painful for me to record here thst the Govt did not any solution on the issue even after the agitation continue the such a long period breaking the history. We are not interested to here the propaganda that OROP has been implemented by earmarking 12000 crores hiding the truth through Media. One the parliament approves the recommendation of Koshiyari committe with original definition and if it is concorred by the Hounarable President of INDIA forming a numerous secretary level committee by delaying tactics and issuing Govt Notification with changes and dilution of definition of OROP appears to be not a justified action and mearly a degradation of the status and deprival of genuine demands. Ihave a request to our veteran brother officers,JCOs OR not to find fault with Maj Gen Satbir Singh SabSab leader ship.It is but natural there will be difference of opinion in the ideology but raise propaganda aginational the whole group of veterans participating the agitation. They can be a stainless supporterror of their political masters for their personal gain. WE ARE UNITED GROUP OF VETERANS IT SHOULD BE MAINTAINED TILL THE GOVT APROVED THE ORIGINAL DEFINITION OF OROP.
